Why?

Wow, so i realize its been a long time since i done anything here.

Recently i've decided to change my blog name from Under Heavens reign to Beauty in my Back yard.

if you think about it, the two go hand in hand because i am still under Heaven's reign and the Kingdom of heaven reigns throughout my life and where ever i go, but i felt like God has been speaking to me lately saying to look at my own surroundings;  my house, my boy, my husband, my creativity, and of course my backyard and see the beauty in them. See the little details of everyday life, that i already pay attention to, and see how beautiful they are and how they all were created to give God the glory.

most people want the glamorous life, the fancy house, the beautiful location, the pretty body and hair and prefect make up, the latest clothes and accessories and they think that what they have isn't amazing. they spend their life in lala land and they MISS the beauty thats passing them by.

I'm here to tell you something, what you have IS amazing because its one of a kind. its YOUR life. it was designed JUST for you, by the God of the universe who loves you and thinks you are more beautiful than the things he sets before you to see.

why would you want a copy? why would you want to be a copy of something or some one else?  isn't an orginal worth more than a copy? think about it...

you don't have to desire to live in the tropics, with the fancy endless pool and have a killer tan with the long flowing beach hair.

if you just take the time and stop and smell the roses you'll find that you have  your very own fairy tale right in front of your nose.

and of course, there is ALWAYS going to be trials and storms of life. ITS LIFE, but just like the winter snow and the bare trees everything has its season. I believe even in winter or rain you can always find beauty or the HOPE of beatuy to come.

so that is why i decided to change my blog name. lol...its not a big deal to most, cause nobody really follows me and i don't care to HAVE followers. i think this is a new season in my life, a new outlook for 2013. 

to see the beauty in everything.
to appreciate everything
and to be a good steward of all that God has placed in my hands.
