Its 365 THINGS!!!

so, we like always i found this really cute make your own notebook that's entitled,"365 things i am grateful for in 2012"  on Pinterest . it had to do with a lot of paper and creativity and such that i know my friend melis would have loved making this. She is obsessed with scrapbook paper i thought this would be a good outlet with her and her amazing creativity and stash of paper! ;-)

so we got together and went shopping bought some things we needed like glue and double sided tape. We wanted to find this contraption that later we found out was called the 'bind-it-all' but couldn't so we had to devise ways of binding all our paper together to form a notebook.
According to melissa i took the hardest way and created EVERYTHING by hand. i cut and sized and punched holes in what was going to be 366 pieces of paper, but after two days of BOTH of us working on our books. i got fed up and decided to not finish and go back to it later. I originally wanted 1 day= 1 piece of paper (front and back) however i ended up doing 4 days= 1 sheet of paper (front and back) and ended up with doing roughly 92 pieces of paper. ALL different and colorful!
It turned out the way i wanted it to even though it took me a week, working on it a little bit every day, to get it done.
Melissa choose a different path. She bought a spiral bound notebook and decided to decorate the cover and
pages inside of it. putting i think 2-3 days on one paper. she was done in like two days. Her tab pages were VERY inspirational as you can see:
Each one was different, just like mine and usually co insided with that months happenings.

We were amazed that both of us working on the same thing came up with two totally different books.that looked so good!

We were excited to use it and we've decided to text each other every day to see what we wrote. if this note book taught me anything it is to be grateful even when things are going crappy. which life has been very hard over the past few weeks, more downs that ups and this book MAKES me find the blessings in my life when i feel like the world is out to get me.
