Christmas- present

So Christmas came and went. it was wonderful but VERY stressful. Geno was a mess that morning and Jonathan and i couldn't figure out why. There was a few other mishaps here and there, but i guess it went well. Not how i would have planned it, but what can ya do?

Geno got lots of toys that i don't know what to do with. With a house on the market we gotta keep our house PRETTY clean in order to sell, so having toys ALLLLLLL over the place isn't the best right now. I'm packing away some of this 'baby' toys for storage. ITS sooo HARD cause he literally plays with everything he owns. i'm hoping i can bring them all out when ever we move into our other house.

On another note:

I've been KNITTING like crazy or at least I've been SO addicted to knitting, i bought a few new books which are exactly what I've been looking for. They show you how to knit different stitches that create these amazing designs. I'm so fascinated by how you can just knot up yarn in different fashions and get these beautiful patterns. Who came up with this idea and how?

Right now i feel lead to knit a 'prayer shawl' for my church. A prayer shawl in my mind is something you lay hands on pray over it and send it out to some one in need of prayer. I've been praying for guidance on what it should look like but i'm not getting anything. I have a few specifics in mind i feel the Holy Spirit has given me, but i don't have color OR pattern. i'm excited about it. this is a major project for me and i want it to be the absolute best.

this is a 'prayer square' I've knitted already. its pretty cool. it has a neat cross pattern in the middle.
